TONY MORTIMER Doing what he loves! • Tony Mortimer is, in many ways, the embodiment of the Australian campdrafter. There’s no gleaming rig parked in his driveway, no six-figure horse purchased on pedigree. Instead, he backs the horses he breeds himself or occasionally buys an unassuming “nice horse” at a sale and quietly shapes it into the kind of dependable competitor that suits his style. Tony has climbed the ranks the old-fashioned way—from small encouragement drafts to the biggest arenas in the country.

BOOK REVIEWS With Wendy Webb • These days due to time constraints instead of reading a physical book I tend to listen to more audiobooks. Over the recent festive season, I really enjoyed stealing some time to actually read these two books – ‘Mad Mabel’ by Sally Hepworth and ‘Last One Out’ by Jane Harper. Both books are available in a range of formats including hardcover, paperback, audio, e-book, and e-audio from the usual range of bookstores and online booksellers including Big W, K-Mart, Booktopia, and QBD Books.
